Read the trend's core
Every trend compresses to one move — a color, a silhouette, a texture, a styling verb (tucked, oversized, layered). Name the move and you can evaluate it against your closet instead of against the campaign pictures.
The cheapest honest door
Try the move at its lowest-cost entry: the trend color as a scarf or tee, the new silhouette from the secondhand rack, the styling verb with pieces you own tonight. If it survives three real wears, the bigger investment has earned its case.
Translate, don't transplant
A trend enters YOUR wardrobe in your palette and your line — the wide-leg arrives in your neutral, not the runway's chartreuse. That is how new pieces join the combining math instead of standing beside it.
Let some pass
